Soluble fibre may help reduce calorie intake by promoting a feeling of fullness and slowing down the rate of absorption of sugars reducing cravings caused by low blood glucose. As part of a nutritionally balanced diet Grapefruit Pectin Fibre may help to maintain normal cholesterol levels. Adequate levels of dietary fibre in the diet help to maintain regularity. Grapefruit Pectin Fibre is not thought to affect the absorption of dietary Calcium.
