Vita-Min Multiple Sport 40+ is a multi-vitamin preparation developed for active persons over 40 years old. Physical exercise, despite its many advantages, is associated with the risk of the activation of oxidative stress. It occurs when the balance of the oxidation and reduction processes in the body is disturbed, which results in the excessive accumulation of free radicals in the body. Antioxidants, the function of which is to neutralise ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species), are not able to cope with the problem on such a scale. Age, and the related decrease in the metabolism rate, can also contribute to creating such conditions, the consequence of which (at the molecular level) can be damage to the DNA, the lipid-cell membranes, and the structure of the amino acids and proteins.

Dunal), bulking agent – microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agent – magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide; capsule (gelatine, colour: E 171).
