Blackcurrant Oil is taken from Black Currant seeds to make a valuable cooking oil with 14% GLA. The Omega 3 Alpha-Linolenic Acid and Omega 6, Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) both are available as a high concentration of essential fatty acids. Although the body can be used for the production of GLA diet from other omega 6 fatty acids, GLA more efficient for the body's functions can be used when directly over food sources.
