Ironsorb + lactoferrin combines iron-protein succinylate (ips) with lactoferrin. Ips is an iron complex that reduces irritation to the gastrointestinal (GI) tract in comparison to other forms of iron. Lactoferrin is an important immune-supporting glycoprotein. The biological activities of lactoferrin include its ability to bind iron, facilitate iron absorption and reduce iron-induced oxidation.
