This rare and unusual hand-made tea is hand rolled into the shape of a pearl. The still not quite dry leaves are layered at night with fresh, delicately scented jasmine blossom, painstakingly removed each morning. This process is repeated up to 6 times, until the Tea Master is satisfied with the quality of the infusion. The tea is then hand rolled and carefully and individually wrapped in silk or tissue to dry in to shape. This leaf shape ensures that each tea pearl encloses the fine jasmine aroma, which is only fully released during brewing. The 'two leaves and a bud' are revealed as they gently unfurl during the infusion. The tea has an elegant champagne colour, a fresh bouquet and a delicate flavour.
