Miso Tasty’s Sweetcorn Miso Soup hails from Hokkaido, Northern Japan. This soup celebrates some key flavours from the island – bringing together the warming chilli peppers from Japanese seven spice with spring onions and crunchy sweetcorn. Their miso soups now contain real handmade dashi, made in the authentic way. They steep aged shiitake mushrooms and kombu (Japanese kelk) in distilled water for 24 hours. This creates an umami rich base, which draws out the deep, natural flavours of their miso for an umami explosion.
