This, our highest strength vitamin D product (1600iu), combines vitamin D2 with Lichen based vitamin D3, in a reliable and sustainable form. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bone and teeth health, by helping to control blood calcium levels. This also helps maintain proper muscle function whilst contributing to the normal functioning of the immune system and the process of cell division, making it essential for everyday health. Vitamin D helps to reduce the risk of falling associated with postural instability and muscle weakness in the older generations: falling is a risk factor for bone fractures among men and women 60 years of age and older, so a consistent intake is recommended, especially for people with restricted sun exposure.
